Providing support through the pandemic
Over the last year I approved over £24,000 of additional funding to local projects to support our community. This is on top of the funding provided by the Council to the pandemic food hubs like The Involve Centre and The Hamara Healthy Living Centre.Return to contents
Tracy Brabin for West Yorkshire Mayor
Tracy said: “I’m proud to have grown up in a small town in West Yorkshire and I know just how important local shops and businesses are. Our high streets, hospitality sector and creative industries have been hit hard during the pandemic, and if I become your mayor, I will work day and night to support them to rebuild. I’m ambitious about the future of West Yorkshire and committed to making sure we bring investment and jobs here. I’ll be the strong champion that West Yorkshire needs. Too many people have been left behind by the Tories, too many businesses have been left without support and too many workers have been ignored."
